Senior Strategic Planner
The role of Senior Strategic Planner is the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives across multiple channels. The person must be capable of developing and delivering XM Asia proposition within Singapore and across APJ markets as appropriate.
The role will involve the following:

The role of Senior Strategic Planner is the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives across multiple channels. The person must be capable of developing and delivering XM Asia proposition within Singapore and across APJ markets as appropriate.
The role will involve the following:
- Conceiving, write and deliver marketing plans that not only address Client objectives, but inspire trailblazing initiatives within XM Asia
- Analyze a variety business problems and implement programs/projects to resolve them
- Partner with mid to senior level Clients to devise strategy, implement solutions and measure results
- Assist Account management to extend Client relationships by recognizing and surfacing new opportunities for XM Asia/RMG to add value
- Write and deliver presentations and proposals to shape Client’s current strategy and to win additional business from Clients
- Follow new marketing/technology developments and incorporate into vision for Client’s business
- Train junior staff (planners and Account Management) in the planning discipline
Ultimately, the candidate must be able to write a complex communication strategy using research information/insights and best practice learnings.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years marketing experience
- Has written and delivered marketing communications plans that address Client objectives against competitive, consumer and economic realities
- Has lead several multi-channel on and off line execution projects for a Client
- Has cultivated and grown Client relationships along side Account Management
- Has successfully worked with difficult Clients
- Has written parts of new business pitches for existing or new Clients
- Has led training sessions for junior staff members/Clients
- Has had hands on experience executing a variety of projects for Clients
- Has developed “visions” for Client business and written and presented plans that led to increased agency business
- Has worked with the major analytical tools to surface issues, analyze results and find opportunities for improvement
